Conveyor belts "Reiter".

We generally produce conveyors in two different ways:
a) with tubular trestle frame or profiles;
b) with folded and ribbed metal plate.
In the latter case, the frame is made of modular load bearing elements, of constant length and width; thus creating a

structure which is used in the same way, for conveyors of various lengths. For inclined conveyors, the frame is supported by suitable counter-frames which allow up to 30 m. space between one supporting pole and another.The utility of this design is obvious, especially where a large number of supporting poles would prejudice the available space and normal flow of vehicles. The driving drum is a compact group, consisting of a rubber-coated drum with supports, complete with roller bearings and gear-box in oil bath; inclined conveyors also have anti-return device. The driven drum, barrel-shaped and lathed, is assembled on pivoted bearing and also acts as stretcher on short conveyors; while on long conveyors the tension is carried out by means of a three-roller stretcher and counter-weight. The upper idler-bearing brackets are adjustable and bear large diameter idlers arranged in pairs or threes, which are self-lubricated. The lower idlers are also adjustable and have the same characteristics as the upper ones.
