This machine has a modern technology, simple to upkeep and most suitable for all kinds of secondary and tertiary crushing in medium and large quarries. The hammers have two crushing sides, one inside and the other outside the rotor. When the outside part is worn, the hammer may be turned around in order to utilise the second side; this gives the advantage of reducing waste of hammer. The hammers are fixed to the rotor by means of indented connection, thus avoiding use of hammer holders.

In order to guarantee the uniformity of the product, indipendently from wearing stage of hammer, it is possible to invert rotor's sense of rotation so that the hammer will always present a sharp corner edge on the impact side. Furthermore, the mobile walls are hydraulically adjustable in order to keep a constant space between hammer and wall. All maintenance operations are accelerated and simplified as the machine may be completely opened by hydraulic controls. 

The machine is equipped with safety device, in case of passage of non crushable objects. When a high percentage of fine product is required, the machine may be supplied with a refiner which consists of an extension of the crushing chamber which has two indipendent valves, also hydraulically adjustable. Hammers and wall linings are made anti-abrasive steel.
