Bar mill "Reiter" Type RMB.

RMB bar mills are tough and simple machines, technically improved in order to be utilized for different processes with excellent results. The machine is composed of a steel drum on which flanges are electrically welded; on these flanges, the head-pieces are applied by means of bolts or welding. The head-piece, or head-pieces with hollow pivot are made as short as possible, in order to facilitate entry (or exit) of material to be crushed. The bar mill's pivots rotate on oscillating roller bearings which are grease lubricated and protected against entry of dust with multiple labyrinth seals. Reduction is by means of hardened steel crown gear in one piece with milled teeth, and high alloy steel pinion. Both crown gear and pinion are protected by a strong closed carter with rubber packings in order to ensure protection against entry of dust and a perfect lubrication. The counter-shaft is axially connected to a gear-box in oil bath by means of self-aligning joint. The mill is internally lined with anti-abrasive steel plates, shaped in a suitable way to allow the best movement of the bars in order to obtain an excellent product. The bars are made of low cast carbon steel. The machine may be manufactured in different versions:
1) feeding on one side with exit on opposite side of hollow pivot;
2) feeding on one side with peripheral side exit;
3) feeding on 2 sides with central peripheral exit.
The mill may function with or without water: - for use without water, the material must be clean and dry, in order to avoid clogging, but the capacity will be considerably reduced. - for use with water, the produced sands will contain less dust and the capacity and output size will be easily adjustable by varying the amount of water flow.
